Writing Prompts
Do you need something to help you get some words on the page? Here are a handful of prompts to give you a nudge.


-  Start at story with a paragraph that includes the words: orange, typewriter, envelope.

-  Write about a time in your life when somebody helped you.

-  Make a list of ten emotions, then ‘show’ your reader a person feeling each one of these emotions rather than stating that they do. Don’t forget to use all five senses.
